ACCESS Christian Academy - FAQ
Why start another Christian School?
Most Christian schools is this area are academic challenging and offer few if any services or provision for children with cognitive impairments, developmental disabilities or significant learning challenges. Christian families who desire a Biblically based approach to education for their special needs child have few options.
Where will ACCESS be located?
The specific location is yet to be determined. The location is targeted for the Fox Valley area, in central Kane county.
What grades will the school provide?
ACCESS will initially focus on educationg students ages 7 thru 14. The program will expand each year. The number and ages of students enrolled will depend upon the current staffing and resources available.
When will ACCESS open?
ACCESS would like to open as soon as possible but will depend upon when the funding is adequate to do so.
How many students are expected to be enrolled the first year?
ACCESS is targeting a small group of students (8-12) for the initial year.
How will the tuition be addressed?
Tuition will be equitable for all students and similar to other Chrisitan private schools in the area. Tuition revenue will cover approximately 35% of actual costs. ACCESS is a non-profit organization that will raise the remaining financial support from charitable contributions.
Is ACCESS affiliated with any specific denomination or Church?
No, ACCESS is an independent non-denominational Christian ministry.
How will the school provide other necessary services- Speech, OT, PT?
ACCESS will provide these services as part of the school day. Utilizing insurance coverage for some of the services may be explored.
