Available Christ Centered Education for Spiritually-abled Souls

About Us - Our Vision

To see the body of Christ offer high quality Christ-centered education to children with a variety of learning styles, learning challenges, and learning disabilities and develop these children as followers of Christ that are using their spiritual gifts to serve Christ and edify His body.

Biblical Mandate:

The Bible says all members of the body of Christ are given spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12). No believer is unnecessary.

The "weaker" among us are called "indispensable" so that all parts are honored and cared for equally . Christian Education as a ministry, therefore, must not exclude children with disabilities because they are called by God to participate in His kingdom. These children do not have disabled souls. The only "disabled" soul is the one who does not know Christ.

Mission Statement:

Access Christian Academy seeks to provide a place where children are welcomed to receive a high quality education from a Biblical perspective regardless of academic performance, learning disabilities, cognitive impairments, physical disabilities or behavioral/emotional disorders.

Values:

  • Our school is centered on Christ as Lord and Savior (I Cor. 12:3b,4).
  • Our school does not show partiality (James 2).
  • Our school seeks to value each soul and nurture mind, body and spirit.
  • Our school seeks to be excellent in all services it provides.
  • Our school is passionate about glorifying God more than success, self-promotion, recognition, or reputation.
  • Our school values each soul as significant to our Lord Jesus and worthy of accessible Christian education to further His kingdom on earth.

Statement of Faith

We believe:

  • in one true God eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit
  • in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, his sinless life, his atoning death on a cross, and bodily resurrection from the dead
  • in the Bible as the inspired, inerrant Word of God as the authority of life and godliness
  • in the fall of mankind, the sin nature of every person, and need for salvation without which he deserves eternal punishment and separation from God
  • salvation is only found in life-changing acceptance (i.e. personal faith) in Jesus Christ as the substitutionary sacrifice for personal sin, which is manifested in the process of sanctification and ends in glorification in eternal life with God.
  • in the imminent return of Christ, His judgment of all, His reward for all His redeemed, and His reign forever.

Foundation of Prayer:

We are persuaded that God can do anything, through anyone at anytime by any means. By prayer we have access to the Heavenly Father and his throne of grace. We have been led to establish a school for Him to meet the needs of a population of children who typically are not in Christian schools.

More than expertise, resources or consensus, we need total dependence on Him. So we build our work on the foundation of prayer.
