ACCESS has been building a network of local private Christian schools interested in providing special education to students with disabilities. ACCESS Christian Academy is a member of ACSI, Association of Christian Schools International. Planning in under way for partnership with at least one school is the western suburbs of Chicago. Illinois has dropped to dead last in the "2008 State of the States in Developmental Disabilities" ranking published by the American Association for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Our hope is that ACCESS Christian Academy will offer an excellent educational alternative for children with special needs in the surrounding community.
